Aeronomy and Ionospheric Physics, Coherent and incoherent radio wave ionospheric scattering, Ionospheric plasma irregularities and instabilities, ionospheric Radio wave propagation. Physics of midlatitude sporadic E-layers, formation, dynamics, plasma instabilities and electrodynamics. Midlatitude E/F region electrodynamic coupling. Interaction of Mesosphere Lower Thermosphere (MLT) neutral atmospheric waves (gravity, tidal and planetary waves) with ionospheric plasma. VLF ionospheric propagation and scattering during thunderstorm and Transient Luminous events (sprites, elves and gigantic jets). Solar X-ray flares and effects on the ionosphere. Atmospheric electricity and Global electric circuit, Geophysical data analysis techniques, Geophysical measurements. CW coherent backscatter radar and radio interferometry experimentation. Ionosonde measurements. Geomagnetometric measurements. VLF D region ionospheric measurements. Wind Potential and Energy Studies, Wind Prospecting and siting using mathematical models and measurements.
