Window and screen parameters

The default window used as output by ISOCONT is IDL 0. The display can be redirected in another IDL window number specifying the WIN keyword. The average size of the ISOCONT window is 650 x 650 pixels. The input image is rescaled according to this window size when it is displayed. One can change the window size (consequently the magnification of the displayed image) using the SIZE keyword. (See Fig. 9)

If a NCD HMX X-terminal is used, all labels are magnified. This is due to a hardware problem of this type of X-terminal. This problem is solved by applying a scaling factor to the size of all labels. This factor is specified by the NCD keyword. (See Fig. 10)
